01The full process, step by step
You submit the form
60 seconds. We need your zip, the current state of your bath, your name, and the best number to reach you. No long questionnaires. No project-budget interrogation up front — the contractors will discuss budget directly with you.
We match you with up to three contractors
Same day if submitted before 3pm. We pick contractors from our vetted West Michigan network based on your zip, your scope, and who’s currently accepting new jobs. Up to three matches — never wider, never sold to lead aggregators or call centers.
Each contractor reaches out within 24 hours
They each call, text, or email you to schedule a free in-home consultation and provide a quote. Independent quotes — they don’t talk to each other and there’s no auction. You’re comparing apples-to-apples on your own time.

Compare the quotes against each other and against the public 2026 cost ranges in our cost guide. Ask the contractors questions. Take your time. Pick the team you trust most — or walk away. You never owe us anything. If none of the three feel right, tell us and we’ll match you with the next set in our network.
What we don’t do. We don’t install bathrooms. We don’t visit your home. We don’t write audit reports. We don’t sell your information to third-party lead aggregators or call centers. We don’t pull you into a five-contractor auction. We don’t take a cut of any quote — contractors pay us a flat per-match fee. And we don’t follow up forever — if you say you’re not moving forward, we check in once at 90 days and leave you alone after that.
02Why three contractors, not thirty
The standard home-services lead model is to sell your form to five-plus contractors who then race to call you first. It works for the lead broker. It doesn’t work for you. You get sales pitches all afternoon, follow-up calls the next day, and weeks of email until somebody loses interest.
We do it differently. Up to three contractors — each from a vetted West Michigan network. Each quoting independently against the same scope. Three options. One comparison. Your choice — or walk away clean.
03What “vetted” actually means
Before a contractor joins our network, we check:
- Active Michigan license — required, verified through the state database.
- General liability insurance — minimum $1M coverage, current and verifiable.
- Google review profile — minimum 25 reviews, 4.5+ rating average, recent activity.
- Itemized quoting — they agree to break out labor vs. materials on every quote so homeowners can see where the price comes from.
- No high-pressure sales — confirmed by spot-checking homeowner experiences. Contractors that pressure homeowners get pulled from the network.
We re-check the basics annually and pull contractors that homeowners tell us aren’t treating them well. Network membership is not pay-to-play — we’ve turned down contractors with deep pockets and added smaller teams with clean track records.
04Who pays for this?
The match is free for homeowners. Our network contractors pay us a flat fee for every introduction we send them. They pay the same amount whether your project is a $7,000 tub-to-shower or a $30,000 master bath refresh — and they pay the same whether you actually book them or not.
That matters because it removes the incentive that breaks most lead-gen services: we don’t earn more when you choose a more expensive contractor, we don’t earn more when you finance a bigger project, and we don’t earn more when a contractor pressures you to sign. Every match looks the same to us economically.
05What if I’m not in West Michigan?
We currently cover Grand Rapids metro, Holland, Grand Haven, Muskegon, Rockford, Forest Hills, Ada, Caledonia, Hudsonville, Zeeland, and the surrounding communities. If you submit a form from outside our service area, we’ll let you know within 24 hours whether we can match you. We won’t pretend we can serve you if we can’t.
